The Congress-led Karnataka government allocated ₹10 crore to 100 families of victims of the landslide in Kerala's Wayanad, the Lok Sabha constituency represented by Congress' Priyanka Gandhi. Opposing the move, the BJP took a dig at Siddaramaiah by calling him the "CM of Kerala". BJP's BY Vijayendra said Kannadigas' tax money is being "diverted" to Wayanad because it's Priyanka's constituency.
