A 30-year-old prisoner from Karnataka's Shivamogga underwent a surgery after he swallowed a mobile phone to evade it being detected. It was discovered after he complained of a stomach pain. An X-ray confirmed the presence of the phone inside his stomach. With his consent, doctors retrieved the device, which measured about one inch in width and three inches in length.
