Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, speaking after PM Narendra Modi flagged off Bengaluru Metro's Yellow Line on Sunday, said, "Such an important state like Karnataka was only getting a meagre ₹835 crore before 2014." He added that under PM Modi's government, the state now received ₹7,500 crore. He further said, "Projects worth ₹54,000 crore are also underway in Karnataka."
