Self-styled godman Mallikarjun Mutya in Karnataka's Yadgir has been booked under the POCSO Act after a video showing him behaving inappropriately with a seven-year-old girl sparked outrage. Mutya kissed the minor girl in the presence of her family. Taking suo motu cognisance of the matter, the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights directed authorities to initiate action.
