K'taka to launch India's first menopause-focused women's health policy
The Karnataka government is preparing to introduce a comprehensive women's health policy with a special focus on menstrual health, perimenopause and menopause, minister UT Khader said. He claimed the proposed policy would be the first of its kind in India. It'll focus on raising awareness, enabling early diagnosis and improving access to treatment for menopause-related health issues, Khader added.
