The Karnataka government has declared a half-day holiday on June 3 for state government employees working at Vidhana Soudha and Vikasa Soudha in view of CM-designate DK Shivakumar’s swearing-in ceremony. The decision was taken to facilitate security arrangements and traffic management, as a large number of dignitaries and party leaders are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
