A 22-year-old woman, Jayashree Biradar, died by suicide in Karnataka's Vijayapura after her arranged marriage was called off. The wedding was cancelled after her ex-lover allegedly shared private photos with the groom's family. Distressed over the incident, she jumped into well in her village. Police have recovered the body and begun action based on a complaint filed by her family.
