Kalateshwari Kali temple, dedicated to goddess Kali, is believed to be more than 1,500 years old. It is said that goddess Kali spent a significant amount of time in Kalat, which is now in Balochistan. Despite numerous attempts at vandalism over the years, the temple has stood resilient. An annual Kali day festival is hosted at the temple.
