Kamakhya temple may get ₹201.52-crore ropeway to railway station

Assam’s Maa Kamakhya Temple may soon get a new ropeway connecting it to Kamakhya Railway Station. The proposed ₹201.52 crore project will cover 1.43 km and aims to make travel easier for devotees. It could also reduce travel time from around 20 minutes to just six minutes, making temple visits quicker.
