Kannur MBBS student drowns in Azhikode pond

Anirudh Krishnan, an MBBS student from Coimbatore, died after drowning in the Anivayal pond in Azhikode, Kannur. He had reportedly gone there with a friend around 2 pm and drowned after entering the water. The Fire Force later recovered his body following a search operation. It was shifted to hospital for post-mortem procedures.
