Uttar Pradesh will invest ₹700 crore to transform Kanpur into a major EV manufacturing hub by 2030. A 500-acre EV park near Bhimsen will be developed under a PPP model, with facilities for R&D, lithium battery assembly, and component production. The project aims to boost local manufacturing, empower SMEs, and create significant employment opportunities.
