Television producer Ekta Kapoor called filmmaker Karan Johar the father of high school film genre. She said this while clarifying that her web series 'Punch Beat' is not a reboot of Johar's film 'Student Of the Year'. "Since you're the father of this 'genre' right from ''Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'...bless this show please," added Ekta.
