At its first Cabinet meeting, the newly-formed Karnataka government passed orders to implement the five promises Congress made in the run-up to the Assembly elections. "All (promises) will be in force after the next Cabinet meeting which will be called within a week," said CM Siddaramaiah, hours after his swearing-in ceremony.
