Karnataka High Court’s Chief Justice SK Mukherjee has revealed that he was offered a bribe by an unknown individual for a favourable judgment in connection with a property dispute case. Post the revelation, Mukherjee recused himself from the case involving Umrah Developers and the Karnataka government. Advocate bodies are urging the judiciary to conduct an inquiry to identify the person.
