Karnataka government to observe Engineers' Day from 2027

Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar on Tuesday announced that the state will officially celebrate Engineers' Day from next year. After paying tribute to Sir M Visvesvaraya in Bengaluru, he said Karnataka produces over one lakh engineering graduates annually. Bengaluru, India's IT capital, is a leading hub for software development, technology companies and tech startups.
