The Karnataka government has approved the project for the construction of Anubhava Mantapa in Basavakalyan, a significant site for the Lingayat community, located in Karnataka's Bidar district. The decision was taken in a Basavakalyan Development Board meeting chaired by CM Basavaraj Bommai. Notably, 12th-century reformer Basaveshwara tried to eradicate social inequities through Anubhava Mantapa.
