Karnataka govt survey shows 83.61% people trust EVMs, BJP reacts

A survey published by the Congress-led Karnataka government found that 84.55% of respondents believe elections in India are conducted freely and fairly, while 83.61% believe that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are trustworthy. Reacting to the survey's findings, BJP leader R Ashoka said, “This survey is a slap on the face of the Congress.” The survey reportedly covered 5,100 respondents.
