In a major reshuffle of IPS officers in the state, the Karnataka government on Monday, 14 July, transferred 35 police officials and appointed them to different posts. However, the government has not specified the reason for the reshuffle in its transfer notification. This, the largest such exercise this year, has also filled several vacant posts in the state police.
