Karnataka HC quashes ED case against Congress MLA Nanjegowda

The Karnataka High Court quashed an ECIR and all PMLA proceedings against Congress MLA KY Nanjegowda and others, ruling ED's powers are "derivative, not original." The court held ED cannot investigate without a surviving predicate offence, cannot file private complaints as PMLA foundation, and is "not a super cop." Seized assets were also ordered returned.
