Karnataka hikes pollution testing fees

Karnataka government has revised the testing fees charged by authorised centres for issuing Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates. The fee for two-wheelers has increased from ₹65 to ₹80, while autorickshaw testing now costs ₹80, up from ₹75. Fees for petrol-, LPG- and CNG-powered cars have risen from ₹115 to ₹150, while diesel vehicle testing now costs ₹200, up from ₹160.
