A man in Karnataka’s Vijayapura district allegedly murdered his wife over a debt dispute, buried her body within their house premises, and filed a missing complaint to mislead police. The crime was uncovered after 24 days during sustained interrogation. Police exhumed the body and arrested the accused. Further investigation is underway.
