Karnataka on Wednesday registered 1,249 new COVID-19 cases and of these, 1,109 cases were reported from Bengaluru alone. The city also reported 1,093 recoveries and one coronavirus-related death during the same period. Notably, with the new infections, the active number of COVID-19 cases in Bengaluru has risen to 5,393. The positivity rate in the city now stands at 4.03%.
