Karnataka has witnessed a notable drop in child marriage cases in 2025, with Mysuru and Mandya reporting significant declines. Between January and October, 123 of 142 complaints in Mysuru were prevented, while other districts also showed substantial improvement. This data was presented by women and child welfare minister Laxmi Hebbalkar during the ongoing assembly session in Belagavi.
