Karnataka SIT uncovers fake medicine network

Karnataka SIT's probe into an alleged counterfeit medicine racket has uncovered a network suspected of supplying fake tablets and syrups to over 80 medical shops and private hospitals. Key accused Veeresh Kumar Jain is being questioned over the network, which investigators estimate had an annual turnover exceeding Rs 15 crore and possible links across multiple states.
