Karnataka vets save sacred buffalo with rare surgery

Veterinary doctors in Karnataka's Chitradurga saved a sacred buffalo, known as 'Devara Kona', by performing a rare ruminotomy surgery. The animal suffered from a severe digestive blockage after consuming rice and payasam offered during a religious event. Doctors removed nearly six buckets of undigested food from its stomach, helping the buffalo recover and return to normal health.
