A tragic incident in Karnataka's Sullia, has led to the death of Jayabharati (56), who succumbed to severe burns after her brother-in-law, Shankar Nayak, allegedly set her on fire on October 12. According to reports, Shankar allegedly poured petrol through her bedroom window while she slept and ignited it, resulting in Jayabharati sustaining burns over 80% of her body.
