Suriya and Trisha Krishnan's film 'Karuppu', released on May 15, has crossed ₹120 crore worldwide within three days, becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2026. It beat Sivakarthikeyan's 'Parasakthi' and the lifetime collections of 'Kanguva', Suriya's previous film. 'Karuppu' was scheduled to release on May 14, but was delayed due to a dispute between the producer and distributors.
