During a call with PM Narendra Modi, UK PM Boris Johnson stated that Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan and stressed on the importance of "resolving issues through dialogue". Johnson also expressed regret at the violence and vandalism perpetrated by a large mob outside the Indian High Commission in London on Independence Day, as per a statement.
