Arslan Nizami, who worked as a civil engineer near Leh, quit his job to pursue music with his frequent collaborator Faheem Abdullah. He recalled having funds for only 14 days in Mumbai. Coincidentally, on the 13th day of their stay they met composer Tanishk Bagchi and got the opportunity to create the 'Saiyaara' title track.
