A Delhi court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to Kashmiri separatist Asiya Andrabi under the UAPA. Two of her associates, Sofi Fehmeeda and Nahida Nasreen, were sentenced to 30 years in prison. Andrabi had founded all-women separatist group Dukhtaraan-e-Millat in 1987, which was declared a terrorist outfit. She was facing charges of waging war and conspiracy against the country.
