Kathak dancer Soni Chaurasia attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest dance marathon by dancing for 124 hours, from Monday to Saturday. A video of her performance will be sent to the Guinness World Records. The record for the longest dance marathon is currently held by Kerala's Kalamandalam Hemalatha, who danced for 123 hours and 15 minutes.
