Katrina Kaif's surname was changed from Turquotte to Kaif in her debut film 'Boom', which also starred Amitabh Bachchan. Boom's co-producer Ayesha Shroff said, "We wanted to give her a surname which would be accepted by the Indian audience." Katrina once said, "My passport name is Katrina Turquotte. I changed it because it'll be easier for people to call me."
