Kedarnath temple to close for winter on Nov 11

Fresh snowfall at Kedarnath Dham has caused temperatures to drop sharply, prompting the Rudraprayag district administration to issue a cold-weather advisory for pilgrims. The temple portals will close for winter on November 11 at 8:30 am on Bhai Dooj. The deity's palanquin will reach Ukhimath's Omkareshwar Temple on November 13 for winter worship.
