KEI, Polycab, RR Kabel fall as UltraVolt entry rattles sector

Cable and wire stocks came under pressure after Aditya Birla Group announced its ₹1,800 crore UltraVolt venture, raising competition concerns. KEI Industries fell over 8%, Polycab India 6%, while Finolex Cables and RR Kabel declined 5% each. UltraVolt aims to become one of India's top two players within five years.
