Kerala bans 'Coldrif' cough syrup after kids die in MP, Rajasthan

Kerala government has banned the sale of cough syrup Coldrif and ordered its removal from the market following suspicions linking it to the deaths of at least 11 children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Health Minister Veena George said the drug was being sold through eight distributors in Kerala, all of whom have been instructed to stop distribution and sale.
