Kerala CMO calls CEC Gyanesh Kumar a 'BJP agent'

Kerala's Chief Minister's Office attacked Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, calling him a 'BJP agent' after former Kerala Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson alleged Kumar asked him to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election on a BJP ticket in 2016. The CMO called Kumar's presence in office a 'grave danger to Indian democracy'.
