Kerala first to achieve 100% primary education

Kerala's Education Minister PK Abdu Rabb on Monday announced that the state has become the first ever Indian state to achieve 100% primary education. The Minister attributed this success to the primary education equivalency​ drive under state's literacy mission 'Athulyam'. Vice President Hamid Ansari is expected to formally announce the achievement at Kerala University on Wednesday.
