Kerala High Court allowed a 16-year-old girl performer to compete in the State School Kalolsavam after a power cut during her district-level Kuchipudi performance likely affected her evaluation, dropping her to fifth place. The court said that the girl was not given a second chance. Kerala School Kalolsavam, an annual event by the state government, will begin on January 14.
