Kerala High Court allowed a 14-year-old rape survivor to terminate a 24-week-old foetus while keeping in view her reproductive choices. "Although [it] is subject to...restrictions imposed under...Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, we find the report of the Medical Board justifies the decision," the bench stated. The board said the pregnancy would pose risk to her mental and physical health.
