Kerala launches 'lipstick-free campuses' drive to protect students from cancer

Kerala's Child Welfare Committee (CWC) has launched a 'lipstick-free campuses' drive in schools to protect students from cancer. The campaign will involve special sessions for students and parents, and schools that successfully complete the sessions will be designated as 'lipstick-free campuses'. CWC said products like lipsticks often have mercury and cadmium, which can lead to severe allergies.
