A 49-year-old man ended up with a severe case of flesh-eating bacterial infection, known as necrotising fasciitis, which escalated after a faulty hair transplant procedure in Kerala. The man from Ernakulam had to undergo 13 surgeries to treat the life-threatening infection, which began with severe headaches.
