Kerala man gets 5-year jail term in child abuse case

Kochi's Aluva Fast Track Special Court sentenced 61-year-old Shamsu to five years in prison and fined him ₹25,000 for sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy. The case was registered at Edathala Police Station in 2023. Special Public Prosecutor PG Yamuna represented the prosecution, while Inspector AN Shaju led the investigation.
