Kerala's former Transport Minister and Thiruvananthapuram MLA Antony Raju has been disqualified as a member of the Legislative Assembly. The disqualification comes after he was convicted and sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for evidence tampering in a 1990 drug-related case. He was the second accused in the case, while Jose, a court employee, was the first accused.
