As Kerala continues to be in complete lockdown, the state police department's e-pass portal has so far rejected 2,21,376 emergency commutation requests out of the 3,10,535 applications received as on May 10, a press statement from the Kerala Media Centre said. The Kerala police had found that the majority of the requests for e-pass were either unnecessary or not genuine.
