A major cheating attempt was uncovered on 27 September, during the Kerala PSC Secretariat Assistant Main Examination in Kannur district. Vigilance officers nabbed MP Muhammad Sahad (25), a native of Peralasserry, after he tried to escape despite being stopped. Sahad had rigged his shirt collar with a tiny camera and used a discreet earpiece to receive answers.
