The UDF and the LDF voted out the NDA president of Kerala’s Naranganam gram panchayat in a no-confidence motion on Thursday by eight votes to six. A fresh election for the panchayat president will be held in 15 days, while Panchayat Vice-President Jessy Mathew will serve as acting president until then.
