The Kuttumukku Mahadeva temple in Thrissur, Kerala, was criticised after a picture showing a 'Brahmin-only' sign outside one of its toilets reportedly went viral on social media, prompting management to remove it. A temple committee official said the signboard was placed two decades ago. "We didn't even notice that board...as soon as we [did], we removed it," he added.
