The World Bank has approved a $280 million Kerala Health System Improvement Programme to enhance healthcare for 11 million elderly and vulnerable residents. The initiative will expand digital health services, strengthen climate-resilient systems, track hypertension and diabetes patients, and provide home-based care, aiming to improve life expectancy and overall quality of life across the state.
