A silk saree-draped humanoid, “Iris”, is the first AI teacher unveiled in Kerala. Iris can convert voice into text, and also text into voice. The next step is to give her "eyes" so she will identify each student. Students at KTCT Higher Secondary School in Kallambalam in Thiruvananthapuram closely worked with Makerlabs Edutech Private Limited to develop the AI teacher.
