A 68-year-old woman died after suffering an electric shock from a microphone during a Ramayana recitation session at a temple in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram. The incident occurred while she was setting up the microphone before beginning her recitation. People nearby rushed her to hospital, but she could not be saved. An investigation is underway.
